BASIC IDEA

Web designing – quite humble!! on its name and fame.. but never gives a complete satisfaction.
Web design or ur website design normally depend on the content or the nature of the site.A site made for advertising an institution or organisation might contain a good template design with banners to make the viewers understand the theme easily.. here the presentation is neccesary.

An informative site that contains more of technical, literature,etc..should contain a peacful presentation with more contents(facts), that brings the viewer for regular updates. More attractive templates or banners are not much neccesary for these kind of sites, as the traffic is developed for the content alone.

For a normal site that contains more downloads like pictures , music or a personal site can be provided with more exotic template to attract the viewer on thier first impression.

Web templates are presently developed with more flash works for smooth presentaive animations.Moreover there are purely flash sites.

But majorly, the sites are html with flash banners.

WEB DESIGNING

Web Templates can be easily designed with most software packages.But i was comfortable with Macromedia Dreamweaver,where the design pattern is more flexible that enables the usage of flash, xml, java and almost every kind of web codings.
